ALEX Berlin begleitet und ermöglicht mit seinen Ausbildungscrews Ereignisse und Veranstaltungen. ALEX Berlin unterstützt und fördert Medienmacher bei der Produktion und Verbreitung ihrer Inhalte. ALEX Berlin setzt Schwerpunkte: Bei den Themen Digitale Gesellschaft und lokale Politik, im Bereich der (Pop-)Kultur und mit der Förderung von Medienkompetenz. ALEX Berlin ist eine Einrichtung der Medienanstalt Berlin-Brandenburg und wird über den Rundfunkbeitrag finanziert.
Mitten am Medienstandort Oberbaum-City in Friedrichshain bietet ALEX Berlin auf rund 700 qm einen repräsentativen und barrierefreien Open Space für Veranstaltungen und Produktionen. Hier erhalten sie einen Einblick in die ALEX Halle.
